About

Vicious Circle is the debut studio album by Indiana hardcore band Zero Boy, released in 1981. In May 1981, original bassist John Mitchell left the group and was replaced by David "Tufty" Clough. Through local shows at the "Crazy Al's" venue in Indianapolis and band manager Marvin Goldstein, the band had enough funds to record a studio album. The band entered Keystone Recording in Indianapolis in August 1981 and registered for 3 day sessions on the 16th, 17th, and 18th respectively. The group laid down 17 tracks during this 3-day period, including the base 14 tracks released on the record, 2 session outtakes "Slam And Worm" and "She Said Goodbye" as well as a outtake cover of "Toys In The Attic" by Aerosmith. .
