About
Seamlessly incorporating various strains of extreme metal (death, black, thrash) with elements of prog rock, classical, jazz, and traditional music, Aussie six-piece Ne Obliviscaris unveil a dynamic and dizzying third album. On lengthy two-part suites like “Libera” and “Urn,” the harsh vocals of founding frontman Xenoyr are offset by the melodic singing style of violinist Tim Charles, while Rush-like basslines and Charles’ potent style propel the entire album toward a cinematic climax.
