Touch is a Rock album by Touch, originally released in 1969. On Gatefold: 34 pressings tracked.
About
TOUCH produced by Gene Shiveley and released in early 1969, featured Jeff Hawks on lead vocal, Don Gallucci on keyboard, Joey Newman on guitar, Bruce Hauser on bass and John Bordonaro on drum. Many early Progressive Rock bands have credited them with practically creating the sub-genre after releasing this now obscure and innovative album - so much that the prospect of not being able to perform it live led to their end. The TOUCH album stands out in a way that only few can, forty years or a week later. It is a gem that needs to be listened to - hopefully in a way that is difficult to do in this sonically saturated world of apocalyptic commercial exce.
