Tiffany is the debut studio album by American singer Tiffany, recorded when she was 14 and 15 years old, and released on June 29, 1987, by MCA Record. The album peaked at number 1 for two weeks in the US, making Tiffany the youngest female artist to achieve a number 1 album. Certified 4× Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), the album sold over seven million copies worldwide. Exploring adult theme, the album is a teen pop record with influences from pop, rock, disco, funk, dance, and new wave. During production, Tiffany turned away from the country music style of her childhood, and she embraced the pop sound and fashion of Stevie Nick, encouraged by Tiffany's producer George Tobin. .
