"This Left Feels Right" is a remix album by Bon Jovi, released in 2003. It features newly recorded versions of songs originally released on the band's previous albums. The album reached number 14 on the Billboard 200. Jon Bon Jovi described the project as a "trip down memory lane". The arrangements of several songs differ substantially from their original versions, with some of the band's 1980s rock songs presented in a more subdued style. The album was recorded in 2003 and produced by Patrick Leonard, Jon Bon Jovi and Richie Sambora. Two new songs, "Last Man Standing" and "Thief of Hearts", were written and recorded for the project but were ultimately removed from the album. "Last Man Standing" was subsequently reworked as a more aggressive rock song and included on Bon Jovi's 2005 studio album "Have a Nice Day". A newly recorded version of "Wanted Dead or Alive" was released as a promotional single in 2003 and was accompanied by a music video. The video used a format similar to that of the "Wanted Dead or Alive (Live Version)" video from the live album "One Wild Night Live 1985-2001". For the Russian and CIS release, Alsou recorded a version of the female vocal part in "Livin' on a Prayer", replacing Olivia d'Abo's vocals. This version was broadcast on Russian radio stations to promote the album. The Russian CD release, however, retained d'Abo's version following a decision by Universal Music Russia. The original versions of "Last Man Standing" and "Thief of Hearts" were later released on the box set "100,000,000 Bon Jovi Fans Can't Be Wrong". Live versions of both songs were also included on the "This Left Feels Right Live" DVD.
