The band signed a contract with Season Of Mist and ended the previous one (since 1996) with Century Media.
This time Necromayhem read the contract..
This album singifies a new era for the band. The sound is not cold any more, Greek folk (traditional) and ethnic ellemants are present, Greek world appear on tracklist, the band regained its authenticity with their melodic riffs.
Necromayhem records voacals, guitars and keyboards but also he is behind production, mixing and mastering.
"ΧΑΟΣ ΓΕΝΕΤΟ" the first sentence "ἤτοι μὲν πρώτιστα Χάος" is taken from Ησίοδος epic poem titled "Θεογονία" [Theogonia] album's title is also taken from the poem.
"Νέμεσις" the gaida (wind instrument) is used like the Ancient Greeks played it.
"Enuma Elise" is an easterns threnody.
"Threnody" is acompanied with clarinet.
"Theogonia" = "θεογονία" in Greek means the birth of gods.
The album and its title are inspired by a poem of the ancient Greeks written in 700 B.C. by Ησίοδος..
It is considered the first work that describes the myth of creation.
