“I don't do no relaxing,” Rich The Kid says on “Splashin” from <i>The World Is Yours 2</i>. It’s a weird flex to be sure, but not all that hard to believe when you consider the Atlanta MC’s extensive collaborative resume, along with the leaps he’s made in visibility since the days of his <i>Rich Forever</i> compilation mixtape. Oh, and then there are his responsibilities as head of the Rich Forever record label. But Rich is looking out for number one on <i>The World Is Yours 2</i>, both literally and figuratively—he is aiming squarely for the chart. “On this album it's like I wasn't just making record,” he told Beats 1’s Zane Lowe. “I'm making hit records back to back to back. You might have somebody drop an album that only have one or two hit. You've never seen an album with this many hit records on it.” .
