The Voice of Frank Sinatra is the first studio album by Frank Sinatra, was released through Columbia Records onMarch 4, 1946. It was first issued as a set of four 78 rpm records totaling eight songs. It was reissued as a 10-inch LP in 1948, with the running order altered from the sequence of the original album of 78s. It was also later issued as two 45 rpm EPs in 1952, a 12-inch LP with a changed running order including only five of the original tracks in 1955, and a compact disc with extra tracks in 2003.

Sinatra's first studio album on Columbia Records, first released March 4, 1946, as C-112, and reissued on LP as CL-6001 on June 28, 1948.
This 10" LP and the 12" LP, were both printed for the (soon-to-be-announced) "Long Play LPs" for the Columbia catalog, and is considered the first (modern) 10" LP ever. Columbia Records unveiled both of these at a press conference in the Waldorf Astoria in June 1948.
Recording dates: July 30, 1945, in Hollywood, California, and December 7, 1945, in New York City.
The 78 album release is known with four inside back covers, which were released in the following order:
1. The second cover in the first column is C-54 (Rhumba With Cugat). At bottom is a list of Columbia's prices.
2. The second cover in the first column is C-54 (Rhumba With Cugat). There is a sticker over the prices.
3. The second cover in the first column is C-110 (Cugat's Favorite Rhumbas); the bottom cover in the first column is C-19 (Musical Hawaii). The prices have been replaced with a description of Columbia's lamination process.
4. The second cover in the first column is C-110 (Cugat's Favorite Rhumbas); the bottom cover in the first column is C-112 (The Voice Of Frank Sinatra). The prices have been replaced with a description of Columbia's lamination process.
LP version cover variations:
