About
Jake would hate that we listen by modem and wires: He was a true performer in the minstrel style and was one of the few who could manage to retain dignity and gravitas whilst others were peeing themselves laughing having heard his lyric. - I have heard that tv producers had a similar problem trying to edit shows for general consumption! Famous for walking offstage when he had completed a set, and not doing encore, one can only try to imaginge what it is like to be so popular when you don't expect or want it. What we can do is continue his songs for fun, for laugh, for entertainment and for the sheer hell of it. Play Jake, and have fun...I think he would like that, no matter what format. .
