The original Broadway cast album has since sold three million copies. The Columbia Masterworks LP was released in 1959 (Mono edition KOL 5450). 1st release is in a Gatefold sleeve with drawing of a guitar on the front, a photo of Mary Martin and the children on the back and extensive notes and photos of the production inside.
