About
Defined by themselves as "the juggernaut flagship masterwork from The Neal Morse Band", The Similitude of A Dream is the second album from the band, released in November 11th, 2016. Being a concept album, it's really progressive, containing both Neal Morse's signature song-writing style (well constructed overture, acoustic guitar and voice only songs) as well as collaborative work with the rest of the band. The presence of the "newcomers" is far more perceptive than in The Grand Experiment, creating a really diverse experience. TSOAD's story is based on "The Pilgrim's Progress from This World, to That Which Is to Come", a Christian allegory that tells the story of a character simply named "Christian" and his journey to Heaven, and talks about the many obstacles on his way. .
