The Love That Whirls (Diary Of A Thinking Heart) was recorded between spring & winter 1981 at Ric-Rac Studios (Leeds) & Rockfield Studios (Monmouth).
Mastered at Trident Studios, London.
"The material on this album constitutes approximately half of the total recordings made at various intervals between April and November 1981. The remainder will hopefully appear in various forms throughout the coming months." - Bill Nelson 1982
The bonus LP La Belle Et La Bête (Beauty And The Beast) was recorded at the Echo Observatory (Yorkshire) in January 1982 for the Yorkshire Actors Company production of Jean Cocteau's film.
Both albums come with glossy or matte printed inner sleeves with lyrics and notes.
Some copies include A4 black & white double-sided printed insert containing fan club info and mail order merch form.
