Misleadingly released as "The one and only Glenn Miller Band plays music from Universal-International's 'The Glenn Miller Story'" this is in fact a compilation of original tracks recorded and released around the 1940s on the Bluebird and Victor labels as 78 rpm shellacs. The compositions were subsequently used as the soundtrack for the 1954 Anthony Mann movie and played by the Universal-International Orchestra, issued as The Glenn Miller Story.
