About

"The Gift of Game" is the debut studio album by the American rap rock band Crazy Town. It was released in the United States on November 9, 1999, by Columbia Record. The album produced the band’s most commercially successful single, "Butterfly", which reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 on March 24, 2001. The album sold more than 2.5 million copies worldwide, including over 1.6 million units in the United State. During its release, Crazy Town declined to transfer control of their official website to Columbia Records as required by a contract clause. As a result, the label prevented the band from advertising the website on the album’s artwork. The band instead included a short outro track, in which the URL is repeated multiple time. .
