The Devil's Rain is a Punk album by Misfits, originally released in 2011. On Gatefold: 8 pressings tracked.
About
Thirty-odd years of lineup changes yield a lean and fiendishly mean Misfits on this metal- and melody-infused set made to scratch every horror-punk itch. Black Flag guitarist Dez Cadena keeps the gritty earth churning beneath demented sock-hop boppers like "Where Do They Go?" And movie monsters lurk: The sludgy titular grinder is named for a so-bad-it's-good '70s Shatner flick; the thrashing "Vivid Red" is sung from Dracula's POV; and on "Ghost of Frankenstein," founding bassist Jerry Only's booming voice could raise the dead.
