Swanlights is a Rock album by Antony And The Johnsons, originally released in 2010. On Gatefold: 11 pressings tracked, owned by 3 collectors.

About

Singing pianist Anohni (then known as Antony Hegarty) conflates her fate with that of a doomed polar bear—and the increasingly precarious "natural" world—throughout this despairing yet ultimately uplifting experimental song cycle. After proclaiming "everything is new" over Nico Muhly's harmonically rich strings, Antony's retro warble warps and distorts in the disruptive title track. A tender duet with Björk heralds the death and renewal that conclude an album of accessible art-pop that reveals more secrets with each listen.
