Sound DNA
- Jazz
Soundproof was originally released in mono in 1956 as Westminster WP-6014. The tracks from this album were never released in stereo. The stereo LP titled Soundproof, although sharing the same album name and similar artwork, is actually a stereo mix of a completely different mono LP by Ferrante & Teicher called Soundblast (Westminster WST 15011).
This master release contains the entries for the mono releases of Soundproof only (track listing starts with the song "What Is This Thing Called Love?"). See master release Soundblast (The Sound Of Tomorrow Today!) for the mono version of Soundblast and the stereo copies of Soundproof (which should all contain the same tracklisting starting with a song called "Peg-leg Meringue").
