Rà-àkõ-st (Råkost): a raw, grated salad of carrot and cabbage, sometimes with rutabaga, celery, apple, etc.
Lāmm-ęl-āār (Lammelår): the thigh cut of lamb
Ęg-gęd-ōsis (Eggedosis): aka "Kogel mogel"; a light and fluffy dessert made by whisking sugar and flavourings into egg yolks
Vōs-sākō-rv (Vossakorv): a pig (and other meats) sausage native to the town of Voss
Fāār-i-kāāl (Fårikål): mutton, cabbage, and whole peppercorns boiled together and served with boiled potatoes; considered the national dish of Norway
Vā-flę-r (Vafler): the "heart-shaped waffle" of Norway, usually served with fruit, fruit jams and brunost, a brown goat cheese
