Skull Sessions is an archival release by the American emoviolence band Orchid. It was released in February 2025 as a limited vinyl release exclusive to the band's West Coast tour, marking the band's first release in twenty year. The album consists of demo and rehearsal recordings from 1998 to 2000, featuring material from Chaos Is Me and Orchid. Skull Session Notes: Tracks 1 - 6 For the self titled album, the band was looking for more creative freedom and experimentation and were discussing the possibilities of self recording at Will’s new studio. These six songs were the first recording ever made at the first iteration of Dead Air. At the time, they served as a proof of concept and a place for sonic experiment. This recording was never released or shared outside of the band. Later they would go on to record and produce S/T themselves Tracks 7 - 13 .
