About
Cool and calm, Jack Johnson is a perfect foil to the rambunctious Curious George. This 2006 soundtrack sees the singer/songwriter embrace the monkey's inquisitive spirit on the upbeat acoustic cut "Upside Down" before he masterfully turns The White Stripes' "We're Going to Be Friends" into a smooth soft-pop sing-along. Adding extra rays of sunshine are Johnson's friends, including Hawaiian slack key musician Kawika Kahiapo on the breezy "Talk of the Town" and Ben Harper on a soothing lullaby version of "My Own Two Hands."
