About

There is some confusion regarding two Bob Carpenters sharing the same page. I will attempt to clarify: The Bob Carpenter I know best was a Canadian singer/songwriter who recorded the album "Silent Passage" for Warner Bros around 1979 (?) in LA and Toronto. The album was shelved for years and eventually released on Stony Plains records sometime in the 80'. The "8 Demos" album also belongs to this same artist. Bob lived on the West Coast of Canada in Gibson's Landing BC until his death in 1995 from a brain tumor. His music has been recorded by Tom Rush, Valdy, Brent Titcomb and is still being sung by the folks who knew and loved him. .
