Saves the Day is the eponymous eighth studio album released by rock band Saves the Day. It was released September 17, 2013 on Rory Record, an imprint of Equal Vision Record, created by Say Anything frontman Max Bemi. The album was well received from music critic, praising the energy, diversity, and change in tone, although opinion was more divided than previous releases from fan. On November 23rd 2012, Saves The Day created a project page on the music based website Pledge Music to raise money for their 8th Studio LP. Each pledge garnered an instant download of 'Ain't No Kind of Love'. The band's pledge goal was achieved in less than 2 weeks and has since then passed over the 200% mark, showcasing the passion fans have for the band. Because of the level of intimacy the album is self titled. Originally set for a July 2nd release, it has since been set back to and confirmed to be September 17th. All pledgers who contributed to the making of the album were promised early access to the album. The album's cover is a grapefruit cut in half and has been affectionately labelled "The Orange Album" by fan. .
