Savage Times (The Complete Collection Vol. 1-5) by Hanni El Khatib

Savage Times (The Complete Collection Vol. 1-5) is a Rock album by Hanni El Khatib, originally released in 2017. On Gatefold: 7 pressings tracked.

About

By collating the five EPs he put out in 2016, Hanni El Khatib has produced his most disparate release yet. He covers high-adrenaline punk (“Baby’s Ok”), politically charged electro (“Born Brown”), and lovesick garage soul (“This I Know”) with customary energy and assurance. Palpable shock and fury run through “1am”’s account of his girlfriend being robbed at gunpoint, while the impassioned “Till Your Rose Comes Home” grieves for a close friend, rendering this a strikingly personal record too.
