Ronan is the self-titled, debut solo album from Irish singer-songwriter and Boyzone frontman, Ronan Keating. It was released by Polydor Records on July 31, 2000. The album was given several poor review, however, it sold over 750,000 copies and became one of the top selling albums of the year. The album peaked at #2 on the UK Albums Chart. The British edition of the album featured two additional track, one of which was later released as a single.Ronan and When You Say Nothing At All (1999-2000) In 1999, while still a member of Boyzone, Keating recorded a version of "When You Say Nothing At All" for the motion picture Notting Hill. The single peaked at number one in the UK chart, leading to a successful solo career. Keating released his debut solo album entitled Ronan in 2000, peaking at number one in the UK Albums Chart.
