Rockin' Rudolph by The Brian Setzer Orchestra

Rockin' Rudolph is a Jazz album by The Brian Setzer Orchestra, originally released in 2015. On Gatefold: 5 pressings tracked.

About

The rough-and-ready rockabilly guitarist dives back into Mr. Claus' seasonal sack for his hard-riffing big band's fourth album of jazzed-up Christmas classics. Brian Setzer discovers new ways to tell old tales in songs like "Rockabilly Rudolph," and delivers a peppy dose of TV nostalgia with "Yabba-Dabba Yuletide." "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" soars atop swinging horns and the singer's warm croon, and a handful of dazzling instrumentals round out the set like shiny orchestral ornaments, proving Setzer the all-time ruler of the cool Yule.
