Drive Blind is from the original demo. The other tracks were new recordings when the band were given £1000, after the group came to the attention of the A&R, Martin 'Cally' Callomon. Aware of the band's mistrust of major labels, Callomon hoped to release it on independent, hiding the fact that recordings were financed by a major label. They had got as far as preparing the artwork when the band decided to release it on Creation, after the band were approached by Alan McGee. Callomon acquiesced to this.
Also reissued on 4 EPs (2022).
