About

Rabies is the fifth studio album by Skinny Puppy, released on November 21, 1989 via Nettwerk. The album is notable for including Al Jourgensen of Ministry, who contributed electric guitars and vocal. Rabies has a much harder sound to it than its predecessor, owing to Jourgensen's influence. While Rabies was a commercial succe, it was very divisive among both fans and critic, receiving mixed reviews as a result. The album spawned two single, "Tin Omen" and "Worlock", the latter of which becoming one of the band's most iconic songs and considered as "one of the band's better songs" by Ogre. .
