Notes from the original pressing. Later editions may differ.
The album title is written as PXR5 on the sleeve front, P.X.R.5 on the sleeve back plus spine, and P.X.R. 5 on the labels.
The song title (track B3) is written as p.x.r5 on the sleeve back and P.X.R. 5 on the label.
The first 5000 copies of this album come with Pete Frame's Hawkwind family tree as a poster.
The original artwork featured an incorrectly wired plug on the reverse of the sleeve which was deemed a safety risk. Subsequent copies come with a supposedly removable sticker over the offending image stating "WARNING - THIS STICKER MUST NOT BE REMOVED". Later pressings had the artwork simply blanked-out with no sticker.

Track A3 live at Hammersmith Odeon - November 1977.
Tracks A4 and A5 recorded at Week Park Farm, Devon
Tracks B1 and B2 recorded live at De Montford Hall, Leicester - November 1977.
Pressed by and lacquer cut by credit taken from runout.
