One Step At A Time is a Folk album by George Strait, originally released in 1998. On Gatefold: 12 pressings tracked.
About
For his 18th album, Strait inches a half step away from his usual neo-trad feel, eschewing the Western swing tunes he'd always found room for and replacing them with more pop-friendly songs like "True" and "Why Not Now." But classic-country ballads like the title track show that he's still in touch with his roots here, and the John Prine-penned "I Just Want to Dance With You" spotlights the Texas crooner’s natural way with a Mexican-tinged tune.
