About
With his hypnotic voice and evocative lyrics, Irish folk-rocker Damien Rice might just be one of the greatest singer/songwriters of his generation. Listen to the fragile emotion of his stunning, mainly acoustic debut album and we know you'll agree with us. From the haunting "Delicate," with its melancholy strings, to the cathartic climax of "The Blower's Daughter," the songs all feel timeless—as thoroughly modern as they are reminiscent of classic Celtic ballads about heartbreak, yearning, and hope.
