About
The title of Aerosmith's 12th studio album could refer to both the band's remarkable staying power as well as their penchant for constant reinvention. Accordingly, <i>Nine Lives</i>' music is daring and diverse: The title track harks back to the band's '70s blues-rock barnstorming, while "Hole In My Soul" is all sunny, Beatles-esque pop and the psychedelic "Ain't That a Bitch" incorporates playful strings. The glossy "Falling In Love (Is Hard On the Knees)" even proves that Aerosmith haven’t lost their touch for bawdy double entendres.
