About

Chicago’s Alkaline Trio made their name on beer-fueled, brokenhearted punk anthems, but their eighth studio album examines the way that relationships dissolve with a surprisingly clearheaded maturity. Recruiting the Descendents' Bill Stevenson on backup-vocal duty, the band deliver soaring anthems like "I Wanna Be a Warhol" with a loose and nimble confidence, while "Kiss You to Death" and "I'm Only Here to Disappoint" are some of their most insightful songs yet, balancing reflection and momentum as Matt Skiba owns up to his romantic mistakes.
