"Musica È" was originally released 1988 in Italy as a five track release and later same year for the international market expanded to an eight track version on CD and seven tracks on the LP and cassette. The expanded release, which had new cover artwork, included the bonus tracks "Voglio Volare" and the remixed single version of "La Luce Buona Delle Stelle" on all formats, the CD release had the additional track "Occhi Di Speranza (Remix)".
An alternative eight track version was released in some European countries. That version had the same cover artwork as the other eight track version, but it replaced the three bonus tracks from the other version with Ramazzotti's three biggest hits at the time - "Adesso Tu", "Una Storia Importante" and "Terra Promessa".
In Greece the album was released as a 7-track version with the original Italian cover artwork but with "La Luce Buona Delle Stelle" and "Libero Dialogo" as bonus tracks.
A Spanish-language version titled "Música Es" was released in Spanish-speaking territories which included seven tracks and had the same cover artwork as the original Italian release.
