Marriott by Steve Marriott

Marriott is a Rock album by Steve Marriott, originally released in 1976. On Gatefold: 26 pressings tracked.

About

It has been a year since the break-up of HUMBLE PIE, one of the premier British rock bands of the Seventie. In 75, when the PIE made their farewell tour of the state, leader STEVE MARRIOTT told SRO crowds as they screamed out requests for just one more encore,"Don't worry, we'll be back". The "we'll" has been amended to an "I'll", but otherwise Marriott has kept that promise with the release of his first solo album. This album has two side, side one, the British band featuring Steve Marriott, Lead Guitar and Vocal. Greg Ridley, Bass and backing vocal. Ian Wallace, Drum, Percussion. Mickey Finn, Rhythm Guitar. Aditional backing vocals on "looking for Love", Venetta Field, Maxayn Lewis and Carlena William. The American side with, David Foster, Keyboard. Dennis kovarik, Ba. Ben Benay, Guitar. Mike Baird, Drum. Ian Wallace, Persussion. Red Rhode, Pedal Steel. Alan Este, Conga. Ernie Watt, Sax. Davis Spinozza, Lead guitar on "Early Evening Light". .
