Marianne Faithfull

▪ Marianne Faithfull's eponymously titled debut studio album, first released by Decca UK with catalog number LK 4689, in mono only. It was released simultaneously with Come My Way in the UK and some countries in Europe and Oceania.
▪ In the United States, it was released by London Records with alternative artwork (catalog number LL 3423 [monaural] / PS 423 [stereo]) with a different running order, and "This Little Bird" replacing "Down Town", "Can't You Hear My Heartbeat" & "They Never Will Leave You". To further confuse matters the UK front cover image was used for another US release from 1965, Go Away From My World.
▪ Later that year, due to the success of the "This Little Bird" single, a revised album version titled "This Little Bird", replacing "Plaisir D'Amour" with this song, was released in some African countries (LK 4706).
▪ In 1989 a remastered version was released for the very first time on CD. This edition used the original UK track listing, plus 6 bonus tracks.
▪ In 2013 another remastered version was released on SHM-CD, only in Japan. This edition includes the album in both mono and stereo version ("As Tears Go By" only in mono), plus 5 bonus tracks in mono.
▪ In 2025 a newly remastered version of the stereo / mono album was reissued on vinyl and as part of the ‘Cast Your Fate To The Wind’ cd boxset featuring sleevenotes that Marianne contributed.
