Mambo Italiano is a popular song written by Bob Merrill in 1954. His arrangement was based on an Italian folk song of unknown origin. The biggest selling version, recorded by Rosemary Clooney, charted in 1954 in the United States and reached number one in the UK Singles Chart early in 1955. Other versions have been recorded by Dario Moreno, Dean Martin, Alma Cogan, Bette Midler, Groove Armada, Basement Jaxx, Philipp Kirkorov, Paula Tsui, Tech N9ne and Chablife.
