Love for sale is an unreleased album by Neo-Soul singer Bilal. Bilal's debut album “1st Born Second”, was released on 2001 and although poorly promoted, was considered a classic. Although his label offered no official explanation, Bilal told his fans via MySpace that "Love for Sale" might be shelved if it was leaked or heavily bootlegged prior to its official 2006 release date. Despite a heartfelt plea, someone with access to the album chose to leak it shortly thereafter and fans rushed to grab up the sneak preview. Though he offered no follow up statement, it's widely believed that his concerns were valid because the album was never released, though widely heralded by fans (and critics brave enough to admit to previewing the album). .
