About
Los Niños Que Escriben En El Cielo is the second studio album by the Argentine rock band Spinetta Jade, released in 1981. On this occasion, Spinetta Jade had undergone changes compared to the previous album: Leo Sujatovich had replaced Juan del Barrio on one of the two keyboard, and Frank Ojstersek had replaced Beto Satragni on ba. The album represents a second stage in Spinetta Jade's sound, reflecting the musical evolution of Spinetta's "jazzy" phase and the changes in band member. On this album, the Rapoport-Sujatovich keyboard duo is very solid and contributes a decisive quality, even at the expense of the guitar. In this lineup, Rapoport plays a crucial role, to the point that Spinetta has said that "the seed of the project was Spinetta-Rapoport." .
