This album was released simultaneously along with an unauthorized pressing run of Sebastian's eponymous debut album, John B. Sebastian by MGM Records. Due to Sebastian transferring to Warner Reprise beforehand, MGM did not have the rights to release anything from him, though they did so anyways. This in turn, quickly caused a lawsuit from Warner/Reprise for copyright infringement, which was adjudicated in favor of the latter. Shortly after the lawsuit, this album and the debut copy were withdrawn from sale and have not been re-released since then.
