Live Nassau Coliseum '76

David Bowie Isolar Tour (opens in a new tab) concert at, Uniondale, NY, 23 March 1976. Recorded by David Hewitt. Broadcast on in US on April 25, 1976. Bootlegs of this concert were circulated and have been widely available since at least 1977 under several titles, including Resurrection On 84th Street and The Thin White Duke (US 1976) (opens in a new tab).
Two tracks from the concert ("Word On A Wing" and "Stay") were mixed and released by Rykodisc on the 1991 remaster of Station To Station (US 1991) (opens in a new tab) from the original master tapes held by David Bowie. Those mixes are different than the same songs in this release.
EMI mixed their version of the full concert and released it in Station to Station Deluxe Edition (opens in a new tab) (on two LPs and two CDs) and Station to Station Special Edition (opens in a new tab) (on two CDs) in 2010. The extended (13:09) version of "Panic In Detroit" with the full drum solo by Dennis Davis was made available as a digital download with the Deluxe Edition.
In 2016, these masterings were included in the second Parlophone David Bowie box set Who Can I Be Now? [1974-1976] released on LP, CD and digitally.
In 2017, it was issued separately from the box set. This master release includes only these releases.
Two tracks (Life on Mars, Five Years) are lo-fi: either the recordings of songs were lost, damaged, or just straight up not recorded for some reason. They are patched in from an inferior recording of the same night, yet have high-quality applauses overlapping.
