About

This intimate collection of tracks, recorded in 2007 at the famed New York City venue, offers a fascinating and stripped-down glimpse of Dave Matthews. Working with guitarist Tim Reynolds—whose intricate, atmospheric work on songs like “Dancing Nancies” provides all the accompaniment needed—Matthews shines in the sparse environment. Hits like the sweet “Crash Into Me” or yearning “Crush” are rendered bare and gorgeous. And we’re treated to some covers too, including an impassioned take on Neil Young’s “Down By the River.”
