Sound DNA
- Jazz
One of those Voiceprint/Blueprint releases with very few information trying to benefit from the popularity of the group with just a repackaging of older recordings, and ultimately participating to the confusion around the numerous archives of the group.
This album is basically a disguised repackaging of Live At The Proms 1970 (tracks 3-11), recorded at "Henry Wood Promenade Concert", Royal Albert Hall on August 13, 1970, which had been out of print for some years. However here, the first 3 minutes of this concert during the introduction of 'Out-Bloody-Rageous' are edited, probably to make this concert less identifiable, as this is well documented that Mike Ratledge had problems with his organ and strange noises can be heard at the beginning of this piece.
The remaining of this 'Live 1970' album consist of 2 previously unreleased recordings (added as tracks 1&2), which are believed to be recorded live at Swansea or at London School of Economics on February 13 or 14, 1970.
All of these tracks are also included on second CD of compilation "Orange Skin Food (UK & Europe 2005) (opens in a new tab)".
