Less Wise by Cody Jinks

Less Wise is a Country album by Cody Jinks, originally released in 2010. On Gatefold: 6 pressings tracked.

About

Cody Jinks broke into music as the singer of the thrash metal group Unchecked Aggression. Here he completes his evolution into a rugged country traditionalist, crafting a thoughtful yet uncompromising LP in the vein of Merle Haggard and Jason Boland. On tracks like "65 Days in L.A.," he reflects on exile in a voice that's low and sepia-toned. His renegade metal spirit even shows up on the fiddle-accented ballad "Hippies and Cowboys," the title naming two groups that accepted Jinks after Nashville rejected him.
