This is an extremely frustrating album due to ridiculous fiddling around with the master tapes and subsequent reissues. The original trio featured guitar, piano and bass. For a later edition, some piano and bass solos were shortened and on another drums were overdubbed. By the time of the first CD reissue, several of the unedited master tapes were no longer available and one track was lost. The only complete, unedited CD version of this session, including a separate track only issued on an anthology, is the unofficial release The Complete "Jazz Guitar" (Europe 2007) (opens in a new tab).
