About
This immaculately sequenced album combines elements of classical piano with IDM and ambient in a way that feels curiously effortless. Insides is filled with alluring textures—percussion that crunches like granite and flaps like bird wings, melodies that move like water droplets and crest like sunrise over misty mountaintops. Don't miss the nine-minute "Light Through the Veins," which plays like the soundtrack to a morning spaceship ride over Earth. Hopkins is one of electronic music's most emotive composers—sit back and prepare for liftoff.
