In The Wake Of Determination is a Rock album by Story Of The Year, originally released in 2005. On Gatefold: 14 pressings tracked.
About
Not content with its songs remaining the same (a screamo debut, doused in artificial sugar to the point of a saccharine overdose), Story of the Year rewrites itself for the better here. The new narrative retains the last record’s grasp of radio-ready hooks, but pads it with a heavier amalgamation of highway-to-hell riffs, hardcore scrappiness, punk rock politicking, and Black Sabbath sludge. By the time “Wake Up the Voiceless” kicks in, expect a noise complaint call from the police.
