Originally composed as a TV ad jingle for Coca-Cola ("I'd like to buy the world a Coke") it was re-recorded by The New Seekers as well as by The Hillside Singers. It sold almost a million copies in the UK and appx. 12 million copies worldwide. Note this recording is the same song by The New Seekers but the lyrics were slightly altered It's The Real Thing.
