After a run of stellar albums with Mobb Deep, Prodigy struck gold again with a solo effort. He shows his range, spitting tough bars over a smooth piano beat on “Y.B.E” and showing a more mellow and awakened side on “Genesis,” rhyming atop an eerie keyboard line about the Devil sparking negativity in the minds of his people. He’s as moody and gritty as ever, with the stormy and atmospheric production on “Infamous Minded” creating the perfect template for his dark rhymes.
