Sound DNA
- Soul & Funk
The initial edition (opens in a new tab) (accompanied with 2Gether (Canada 1993) (opens in a new tab)) was first sold on August 31st 1993* in Paris during the 'ACT II' tour.
The 2nd run (opens in a new tab) was also available on some (later) tour dates and in The New Power Generation Stores in Minneapolis and London.
The 3rd edition (opens in a new tab) omits "Guess Who's Knockin" (probably due a heavily similarity to Let 'Em In (opens in a new tab) - written by Paul McCartney).
* = various sources like wikipedia may declare "July 26th 1993" as first release date. This is a unlucky mistake: the date was posted on the fansite "prince.org". Years later the author confirmed he just made a educated guess based on the European tour kick off date.
