'Garden Of Love' is the fourth studio album by Rick James (featuring The Stone City Band). Released on July 16, 1980 by the Motown owned Gordy Record. Produced by Rick James himself. The album contained the US R&B #17 (US Dance #38) hit - "Big Time" which ends the (hypothetically connected) storyline of "Hollywood" and "Fool On The Street" , on "Big Time" Rick sings about having made it "big time" , he's busy performing at the Carnegie Hall with bright lights shining, signing autographs when there's no time to, for the fans that can see he has the knack and believe in him. The album peaked at #17 on Billboard Top Soul LP's (#83 overall Top LP). .
